We have been having lots of fun putting together some delicious cocktails for you all to try using our DJ’s Cold Infusion pockets. This cocktail was expertly put together by the talented Francesco Lombardi exclusively for us.

This drink is a bit like a Gaelic coffee, but cold, refreshing and even more delicious. There’s warmth and lovely hints of our DJ’s Orange Osmosis Cold Infusion Pockets. Serve as an aperitif or digestif: this cocktail works at any time of day – and especially today, of all days being St Patrick’s Day!

We’ve worked long and hard to perfect our cocktail flavours, and no cocktail flavour works better than oranges. With a powerful burst of citrus that’s countered by an underlying natural sweetness, our Orange Osmosis flavour pockets are the perfect way to infuse a tied and tested flavour into a cocktail of your choice.

Just place all the ingredients (see above for full list) in the shaker, except for the Guinness, add ice cubes, and shake, double strain into the glass, top up with Guinness.

Why not give it a try at home?

Ingredients:
50ml Irish Whiskey infused with DJs Orange Osmosis (infuse for 10 minutes)
150ml brewed black coffee
2 tbsp double cream
1 tsp brown sugar
1 pinch of freshly grated nutmeg

Garnish: Orange peel
Glass: Collins glass
Ice: Cubes for stirring
Method: Crush ice in a resealable bag. Combine sugar and hot water until sugar dissolves. Add coffee and Irish Whiskey infused with Orange Osmosis, stirring to blend. Fill serving glasses with crushed ice, then pour in the drink. Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg over the top.
